Beta zeta zeta education foundation

Welcome to the Beta Zeta Zeta Education Foundation—where our mission is rooted in service, our vision is grounded in hope, and our impact speaks through every life we touch. As the philanthropic arm of the Beta Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, we are dedicated to strengthening communities through scholarships, outreach, and empowerment.

Mission Statement

The Beta Zeta Zeta Education Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm for the Beta Zeta Zeta (BZZ) chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. The purpose of the Foundation is to operate exclusively as a charitable and educational organization. We provide funding for scholarships to students pursuing higher education; support community service activities that improve individual and community living standards; and fund programs that encourage education, training, empowerment, health, and well-being for women, youth, veterans, seniors, and other disadvantaged populations.

It is the Foundation’s vision to improve the lives of members of the Greater Cincinnati community through educational programs and services.

501(c)(3) Status

The Beta Zeta Zeta Education Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Our Connection to Zeta Phi Beta

As an extension of the Beta Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., we embody the sorority’s principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Our foundation is a platform for sustained community investment, educational support, and outreach programs that reflect the legacy and mission of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Programs & Initiatives

Scholarships

Education changes lives—and we believe every student deserves access to higher learning. Our Foundation provides scholarships to deserving high school seniors and college students in the Greater Cincinnati area. Learn more about how to apply, deadlines, and eligibility.

Community Service Programs

We sponsor and support impactful community service activities such as health fairs, youth mentorship programs, school supply drives, and veteran support efforts—each designed to uplift and improve quality of life for all.

  • Women’s Empowerment – Resources and events to uplift women

  • Youth Development – Programs that inspire leadership and success

Fundraisers

  The Beta Zeta Zeta Education Foundation has proudly hosted impactful fundraising events such as Night at the Theatre, The White Party, and our Giving Tuesday Initiatives. Each event invites supporters to help advance our mission—uplifting, educating, and empowering individuals and families throughout our community.

Women’s Health Initiative

Supporting Women’s Mental Health Through Perimenopause And Beyond

The Beta Zeta Zeta Education Foundation is offering a FREE workshop designed for Women age 35 and over in the Greater Cincinnati Area, all adults over the age of 18 are welcome. The purpose of  this workshop is to identify healthy ways to manage their mental health throughout adulthood. The day will include light continental breakfast with coffee and tea, meditation, educational presentation by a licensed mental health/health and wellness practitioner; lunch with beverages; yoga for all abilities (chair or mat).
